Is admission possible on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes. Saeron Clinic operates its inpatient wards 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, making admission possible even on Sundays and public holidays.
How do the single and double patient rooms operate?
Saeron Clinic operates private wards primarily featuring single and double patient rooms. Single rooms incur a premium room charge (non-covered by insurance). For current room availability, please contact us by phone.
How to process Workers' Compensation Insurance?
As an Incheon-designated medical institution for industrial accidents, we provide treatment covered by industrial accident insurance. The process involves: ① Consultation with our industrial accident representative, ② Completing the medical care benefits application form, ③ Submitting documents to the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (the hospital assists with preparing documents such as medical opinions), and ④ Receiving treatment after medical care approval. For costs incurred prior to approval, you can claim reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses from the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service by submitting receipts.
Does the hospital handle the workers' comp paperwork?
Yes. Our workers' compensation coordinator supports the preparation of documents for KCOMWEL, including the benefit application and the medical opinion. We go through the process together even if it is your first time, so please feel free to consult us.
Can I transfer here after workers' comp approval elsewhere?
Yes. If your claim is already approved, we assess your current state with reference to your treatment and test records, then transfer you to Saeron to continue intensive Korean medicine treatment and rehabilitation under workers' compensation. The hospital will guide you through the transfer.
Do I pay out of pocket under workers' compensation?
Once the claim is approved, treatment proceeds under workers' compensation and your share of costs within the benefit scope drops sharply. Costs incurred before approval can also be claimed from KCOMWEL with receipts, reimbursed up to the out-of-pocket portion. Non-covered items are explained separately.
Are commuting accidents covered by workers' compensation?
Yes. An accident that happens while commuting by the usual route and means can be covered as a commuting accident under workers' compensation. Whether it is recognized depends on the circumstances, so come in and we will explain eligibility and the application process.
In what cases can I be hospitalized under industrial-accident coverage?
Accidents during work or while commuting, as well as illnesses arising from long-term service of 10 years or more, may qualify for industrial-accident admission (recognition as a work injury is determined by the Korea Workers Compensation and Welfare Service). Admission is decided after examination by a doctor, and the hospital assists with the industrial-accident application paperwork.
