How do I care for scabs and the healing tape (Duoderm) after removal?

Keep the healing tape (Duoderm) on for 1-2 weeks and replace it when fluid builds up. Do not pick at scabs-let them fall off naturally. After removal, apply regenerative cream and sunscreen diligently to prevent pigmentation. Any pigmentation usually fades gradually over 3-6 months.

Will it be very painful?
