Is admission possible on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes. Saeron Clinic operates its inpatient wards 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, making admission possible even on Sundays and public holidays.
How do the single and double patient rooms operate?
Saeron Clinic operates private wards primarily featuring single and double patient rooms. Single rooms incur a premium room charge (non-covered by insurance). For current room availability, please contact us by phone.
Can I receive treatment for a traffic accident with car insurance?
Patients involved in traffic accidents can receive medical treatment and hospitalization covered by automobile insurance. When you visit the hospital, please provide either the 'personal injury accident claim number' or the 'contact information of the other party's insurance company'. The hospital and the insurance company will handle subsequent procedures, such as confirming payment guarantees for medical expenses.
What is a payment guarantee?
A payment guarantee letter is a document in which the insurer confirms to the hospital that it will pay this patient's treatment costs. Just tell us the personal-injury claim number or the other insurer's contact, and the hospital requests and handles the guarantee — nothing for you to prepare yourself.
Same-day care and admission?
Yes. The ward runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so same-day care and same-day admission are possible. If the director judges admission necessary after examination, you can be admitted right after the payment guarantee is confirmed.
Treatment even without symptoms?
Yes, we recommend it. The impact of a traffic accident can surface days, weeks, or even months later as headaches and pain, even if you feel fine at the time. Diagnosing and treating early, even after a minor accident, keeps symptoms from becoming chronic.
Coverage regardless of fault?
Regardless of the fault ratio, once a personal-injury claim is filed you can be treated under auto insurance. Even where you bear some fault, it can be handled through auto insurance such as personal accident cover, and we will explain this at your visit.
Treatment after settlement?
Before a settlement, treatment is covered by auto insurance. After a settlement you can continue under private or national health insurance, so if symptoms remain we recommend consulting rather than stopping.
What are the criteria for hospitalization after a car accident?
Admission is decided after examination by a doctor. Mild cases (injury grades 12–14) may be admitted within 3 days of the accident, while patients with fractures or requiring surgery may be admitted in proportion to the diagnosed number of weeks. Before admission you need an insurance claim-receipt number: victims request it from the opposing insurer, and in single-vehicle or at-fault cases from their own insurer.
