01 Keep Duoderm for 2 Weeks

Keep the DuoDERM we applied on for two weeks; if it starts to come off, cover it with a larger one on top.

02 Regen Cream and PDRN

To support healing and prevent pigmentation, we give PDRN regenerative pharmacopuncture twice: on the day of treatment and two weeks later, when you come back to have the DuoDERM removed. If redness is strong, we recommend additional sessions. After the DuoDERM comes off, apply repair cream often until the redness fades.

03 Pigmentation Fades in 1-6 Months

Even if pigmentation appears it usually fades within one to six months; focus on sun protection and brightening care in that window.

04 Pat Gently, No Massage/Scrubs

Dab rather than rub, and do not use meridian massage, radiofrequency, scrubs, or home care devices.

05 Use Clinic Products, No Sun Patch

Over-the-counter brightening products can irritate, so we recommend in-clinic prescriptions; do not apply under-eye sun patches while redness remains.

06 UV Protection and Moisturizing Care

How many sessions are needed for pigmentation and melasma?

Pigment treatment varies greatly with the depth and intensity of the pigment. Faint blemishes or overall tone improvement usually take 5 or more sessions, while deep melasma or nevus-of-Ota-type pigment often needs 10–20 or more sessions at 1–2 week intervals. The exact number is advised after examination by a doctor.
