Janus Skin Analyzer — Precise Diagnosis That Puts Numbers on Pores, Wrinkles, and Pigment

A skin consultation at Saeron starts with imaging on the Janus Sunlike Pro analyzer. After cleansing, we photograph under four light sources — normal, cross-polarized, parallel-polarized, and UV — and check the moisture level of the cheeks.

Your skin, compared with your age group

Pores, wrinkles, firmness, epidermal and dermal pigmentation, and skin tone are compared numerically against the average for your age group, along with left-right balance, jawline angle, and oil and moisture. A skin age comes out too — please do not take it too hard if it reads higher than you expected.

Magnify the pores between the brows in 3D and you can see their depth and texture like the mouth of a volcano; in the wrinkle analysis, everyone is startled — "these are all wrinkles?" That level of detail is what determines the type, number, and intensity of treatments.

Pigment has to be read layer by layer

We check epidermal pigment first, then look at dermal pigment under UV. If pigment has settled into the dermis, melasma can surface even after a light treatment, so we proceed more cautiously and stress sun protection and brightening home care. Nasolabial folds also differ in cause depending on skin thickness and the fat layer, so filling and lifting are sometimes used together.
